This plugin will generate a report from within Movable Type that will analyze the performance characteristics of any template within your installation.

The report displays a list of all the tags in the template, and for each one:

the name of the template tag

the number of times it is called

the total running time for the tag

The report is in the form of a table, for which the columns are easily sortable so that you can easily see which tags are the bottlenecks in your system.

The Image Cropper Plugin for Movable Type provides a simple user interface for managing and generating custom thumbnails from any image asset managed by Movable Type.

The plugin was specifically designed to addressed the case where publishers want the ability to produce different thumbnails designed specifically for certain different locations on a web site. Furthermore, for each of these locations it is not sufficient simply to scale the asset in question; rather the publisher would rather crop the asset in a custom manner for each thumbnail generated.

Finally, in order to properly annotate thumbnails to credit the photographer and preserve any required copyright notices, this plugin allows you place some text on the image accordingly.

This utility facilitates that process.

Features

Define a set of "prototypes" which in essence are a prescribed set of allowable thumbnail sizes.

Manage all related thumbnails from a single dashboard.

Create alternate thumbnails using a simple drag-and-drop cropping interface - without ever leaving Movable Type.

Annotate thumbnails with a custom message.

Place annotations using the orientation and location you specify on the generated thumbnail.

Hooks for designers to define thumbnail prototypes for their themes and template sets so that their users don't have to.

Contact forms are one of the most common and oldest ways in which sites have provided their visitors with a way to contact them. They are preferable to many because using a form obviates the need to disclose an email address. But where many solutions fall short is that the form itself only automates the sending of an email. They offer very little customization and are unable to store submitted form data for searching later.

The Contact Forms plugin for Movable Type provides a comprehensive solution for allowing site administrators to manage multiple ways for their site's visitor's to contact them and ask them questions them questions via a simple form submission. Contact form submissions are then stored in the database and tracked to ensure that every message is replied to, and to make all responses searchable.

Finally, site administrators are given a simple screen on which they can monitor incoming inquiries and respond to them in kind via email.

With the introduction of the Affiliate Product Optimizer (APO), publishers gain the ability to understand their visitors' interests in real-time and display optimal, personalized product offers from affiliate networks. By truly listening to website visitors' words and actions, publishers can increase their revenues by showing their customers the most relevant products at just the right time.

The Affiliate Product Optimizer goes much further than standard search or page ads by building a unique profile of each web site visitor as they interact with the web site, a "Customer Echo". The Echo is continually refined over the life of the user session. Rather than using static page content to match offers, the Customer Echo is used to select the most appropriate offers from the affiliate network, specific to each visitor. This provides each visitor with a unique and optimized experience based on their personal browsing interests and exhibited site behaviors.

Initially released with support for the Commission Junction network, and using the Commission Junction Web Services, the Affiliate Product Optimizer easily plugs into a publisher's website by adding a pre-generated piece of JavaScript to the page.
