HI, is there a way that by default all the images are embeded without a thumbnail?

Visit the plugin's Settings and look at the Thumbnailing
Options. If you don't ever want thumbnails, uncheck "Create
Thumbnails." If you usually don't want thumbnails leave Create
Thumbnails checked and uncheck "create a thumbnail image."
It's covered more thoroughly in the documentation.

As it says on the plugin's page: Currently not compatible with MT5.

This plugin works with movable type v5.x.
What you should do is to apply this patch:

Without that patch the "Close" button from the plugin won't work and thus you won't be able to close the "Better File Uploader" popup window after uploading your images.
Applying the patch is a very simple operation.
You could safely search for "mt-close-dialog" and you are going to find 5 tmpl files where you need to apply the patch recommended on the URL above.
The files in question are:
/plugins/BetterFileUploader/tmpl/file_exists.tmpl
/plugins/BetterFileUploader/tmpl/new_entry.tmpl
/plugins/BetterFileUploader/tmpl/processing.tmpl
/plugins/BetterFileUploader/tmpl/show_html.tmpl
