BloggerImporter
This plugin doesn't work with MT5.
BloggerImporter is a plugin for Movable Type 4.
- This plugin can import content from Blogger to Movable Type.
- You don't need import file because this plugin uses Blogger's API.
There were a few errors in version 0.1 caused by a change to the Blogger API, these have been fixed in version 0.2.

This plugin works great from dragging all those blogger entries over to MT4. There's no need to change any configuration on the blogger site, but just remember that if you plan on deleting the blogger blog, the images from the post are still hosted on the Blogger server. I'm not sure if the images would also be deleted, so be careful.

Hey i downloaded the plugin and imported posts from blogger but was facing publishing error so i did it 3 times so in the end i have 3 of each. After that, i wanted to delete the duplicate posts but after deleting i could not publish thanks to MT errors. Now that i can, the posts are still not disappearing from the blog. I can still see 3 of each. What do i do??

This importer seems to be failing under 4.1 and 4.2 with the following message:
Error: :1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found Invalid repeating query parameteterstart-index ^ at /home/adders/public_html/cgi-bin/mt/plugins/BloggerImporter/lib/BloggerImporter/Import.pm line 328
Any chance of a fix?

Blogger API was fixed the problem. http://code.google.com/p/gdata-issues/issues/detail?id=798
And I fixed a bug that the plugin couldn't import comment.
Could you download and use BloggerImporter 0.2? http://code.google.com/p/bloggerimporter/downloads/list
Thanks!

Hi,
I am using MT 4.23 and BloggerImporter 0.3 and I imported everything, about 1500 posts, without much issue.
I came across two problems. 1) All entries seem to have comments turned off, even though in Blogger they were on. 2) It has copied the Category into the Tags field, which is undesirable.
I am now looking for a way to mass edit all 1500 entries in phpMyAdmin.
The important thing is that all the entries came in! Thanks so much for a wonderful plugin.

Another piece of advice is to create all the categories in MT first. I just did an import of about 2000 entries and it did not create categories for them.
