Chad currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, though he is most definitely not a Southerner. In fact, he's lived in such varied places around the United States as Chicago, Seattle, and even Southern California. Strangely, no one considers Southern California to be The South. Nonetheless, he lives in Charlotte with his wife, kids, and an ever-growing collection of stray dogs. Several years ago, after leaving the corporate world, Chad decided that he would set up shop for himself and Everitz Consulting was born. There, he provides services related to Movable Type, TypePad and just about any other platform you might imagine, and has contributed community plugins such as the award-winning MT-Notifier, the acclaimed anti-spam plugins MT-Approval and MT-Moderate, the venerable MT-SomeDays, and a variety of others, all while continuing to offer network consulting to those who need it. In his ever-dwindling spare time, Chad also continues to blog at Don't Back Down, and also writes elsewhere as time permits. Which is to say not very often.
