The SetDefaultCategory plugin can be used to set default categories for Movable Type entries.
**Usage**
On the website or blog plugin settings screen, enter the name for the category that you want to set as the default category in the "_Default category_" column. Multiple categories should be separated by commas.
Make sure the "_Specify default category after saving_" option is enabled. (This option is disabled by default.)
